Boombap was the soundtrack of my childhood and has been somewhat relevant nowadays with the emergence of lofi music, so it just felt natural to revisit it.

Back in 2019, Vinyl Williams and I had a productive studio session together in LA and he ended up showing me some tracks off of what would soon be his latest album, "Azure". I was blown away and we started talking about the possibility of me remixing some of the new tracks. After he sent me the album and I could hear it in full, I chose the title track “Azure” to remix. I ended up speeding it up a bunch to fit my tempo *hence why he sounds like a chipmunk* but I think it adds to the psychedelic factor of the track ;) .... anyway please enjoy!
