Glad to have another friend of the house and label member providing us with a new #nowadaysmixseries. Aymeric is next to an excellent producer, one of our favourite DJ’s our city has to offer. Like many people, his musical journey started at Petrol where he got in touch with underground electronic music.

“Antwerp offers a bit of everything, I was a dubstep kid when I was younger, but through the diversity which is played throughout the city I quickly became interested in different genres. The life in a city with hypes, trends and creativity makes you curious about what is happening behind the corner.”

Together with his roomie Nathan Boost they are continuously making new music in their home studio. “Our dream is to start our own concept, kick things off with a record label where we can find a home for our own productions, and later create something which has the potential to expand in more than just a record label.”

Ears Wide Open is my call for you to come wander open-heartedly into the endless realm of beats and melodies I dig, mostly – but not limited to – electronic, No boundaries or preconceptions, just all that music I wanted to share with the world, but I didn’t have the chance yet.

I grew up listening to the radio or better said, the radio grew me musically, infected me with a visceral need to select the music I loved and tape it on cassettes. Later on, I started to buy vinyl and play them to the people at parties. Ears Wide Open triggers a new dimension of what DJing means for me. Tune in and enjoy!
