When we listened to his demos, we immediately fell in love with his productions, which are a perfect fusion of oldskool house vibes and modern minimal grooves. The remix section comes along strong like always with upcoming talent THEOS, delivering a super smooth minimal house version of the title track! The super dynamic remix of Jakob Seidensticker & Melina adds another level of analogue groove to the EP. Cheers!

Unexpectedly intense and joyful festival activities made us move this summer release to the end of the season. But it’s never too late for great music, which on top can finally be played in clubs again. For our mini-jubilee release No. 40, the super-talented DARIO with first release experiences on labels like Avotre, Nervous Rec. and Moonbootique, teams up with Berlin-Munich-based duo AREL & SCHAEFER who put their mark on Deepalma, Milk & Sugar or Bar25 Music. Together this combo delivers a delicious and floor-proofed EP. Accomplished with a remix by Hungarian DJ & producer DANIEL MEISTER, this EP comes with fresh and brilliant grooves.

„Our Space“ has been road-tested over the summer in many festivals and we can promise: „Damn yessss, this rocks“. The chord in the manner of classic house music comes on a crisp and tight rhythm, which works already as a ‚standalone‘. So it’s an easy job for the hook to screw and wind into the crowds mind, for calling this track a proper peak time tool with an extra portion fun. Daniel Meister takes it on for a remix and strikes as usual with his high quality sound - warm and clear! He splits the main part to reduced cuts and doesn’t lose any of the spirit from the original by keeping it much more minimalistic. Impressing!


The second original „Sacred Ground“ follows up on tight grooves and convinces by an excellent deepness, which is always high enough for breathing cooled-down summer air with a relaxed happiness. Let’s have a dance!

With his new EP, Alex Krüger aka Tigerskin continues his journey through wild, versatile and groovy Caribbean moods and beyond pure club functionality. Pink Zebra and Melancoholic both transport proper island vibes with a wink yet are still undoubtful Tigerskin trademark productions. Hirokos Riddim is a wet-sounding homage to the ‘Sleng Teng Riddim,’ a preset groove found in a certain trashy Japanese keyboard of the early 80s that accidentally lead to the invention of Dancehall Music by King Jammy and Wayne Smith in the mid 80s. The EP closes with the majestic rock-ish 33 Travellers, a tune based on a groove of another model of japanese trash keyboards that Alex distorted and recorded through grannies old tube radio when he was a teenager. Positive vibes for y'all! 

All tracks mixed by Stefan Janson and mastered by Salz Mastering in Cologne.

We close 2021 with a yummy release by JIGGY (IT). The Stuttgart-based artist is truly a master of groove and showed this with previous releases on labels like VIVa Music, DPE, Ole Rec., Moan, Play Groove and many more. In addition he leads the imprint „Be Water Rec.“ with only productions by himself. Herewith lands the inherently consistent „Sunwaves EP“ in our realms and claims the connection of each track like brothers and sisters of subtle grooves and rhythms.

The first one ‚Sunwaves‘ (maybe in terms to the same named festival) has an obvious touch of the so-called Rominimal style and sticks out with freaky horn and synth sounds for proper madness. „Sunday Afters“ is a tribute to the freakiness of those special days and it lives up by its name. Thrilled by the breakdown which makes us nuts, it ends up in glory groovin’ vibes including big smiles. Third tune „Street On Fire“ catches up background babbling pounded on a proper bassline. There we go!

Street Tracks Imprint Vol. 10 heralds in the new year with another bumper selection of new music and rising talent.  Curated, as always, by Waze & Odyssey’s Firas Waze, the latest instalment in the Imprint series gathers together six choice cuts across the house and breakbeat house spectrum. 

Hot hip-house mashes up with rave tropes on Bessey’s ‘Vibe’, whilst Mancunian duo, Mandalo, follow up releases for Sola and Repopulate Mars with the twisted tech of ‘Hazy Bubble’.
