For the seventeenth instalment of the Orphic Series, we welcome Twitch streamer BEKIMACHINE to take over mix duties with an hour of melodic house & techno, filled with euphoric energy and atmospheric vocals from artists like Grimes, HANA and Eynka. 

BEKIMACHINE is a London-born, Birmingham based emerging producer & DJ. She's known for producing electronic music ranging from synth pop to techno, creating an ethereal, otherworldly sound.  She has a habit of crafting music with a sense of atonality, filled with catchy melodies and bass hooks whilst evoking nostalgia.

Last year she took DJing from Twitch to the stage, playing a string of shows to date including TwitchCon Amsterdam, Berlin Brighton & Shaydefest - falling in love with the atmosphere & energy of the live room, whilst sending the audience on an emotional journey through music.  This year, she opened up for Elevation at EGG London as their DJ competition winner. 

Her latest single, Crescent (Blood Moon Remix) marked the starting point of a new chapter in her music, infusing techno into her synth-pop sound.  Prior to this, she released her debut album Another Atmosphere in 2022, a video-game inspired synth pop saga, gaining positive support from SIDE-LINE Magazine and securing radio play from BBC Introducing.

Yeadon - Progress:On x Saturo Sounds - 30th May 2020

Part 1 in a series of mixes that i have put together to document my journey through music.
Taking it back to 2008, when a group of friends started a Sunday morning party at the legendary Herbal nightclub in Shoreditch.
The party was called Church which went on to be Cant Stop Wont Stop.
This party became an institution which gave me the oppotunity to express myself through my music and find a new sound, which in turn has pathed the way for the London house scene we have today.
Big Love out to Will & Dagga for giving us this early platform, and out to Lee 'B3' Edwards, Maximus, Keaton & Sesan my fellow Djs at this incredible party.
