This track was going to be released as part of the Bronies 4 Good album that is coming out soon, but I was told that I would have to change the name if I wanted to be accepted. So naturally I said no, because like, c'mon. It's great.

Kinda a quicky little track I produced at the last minute while I waited for DJT to finish his end of the collab we were doing. I think it turned out pretty nice though, and me being me I wanted to try to have my hands on as many tracks on the album as I could. While I did win a couple of the albums in the past in terms of numbers, DJT just could not be beat. I'll just have to do more next time!

BlueBrony has been delighting us for a while with fresh pony-inspired tunes served with style and quality. Or should I say dragon story! "Hero" is actually about Spike's character depth, waking up from a dream about his idolized Power Ponies, and hearing a voice making him realize that he IS a "Hero" himself in Equestria, always being there for his friends! That wonderful concept as explained by PegasYs is also reflected by the lyrics of his "talkbox" vocals in the last part of the song.

The lyrics:

Along the delight of hearing vocals from Starlight's lead singer again, that concept expressed through the song and lyrics is really such a wonderful and powerful token of the power of pony music.

And as if that wasn't enough, incredibly well-made and emotional pony vocal chops are entrancing the soul as we hear this result of the fusion of the musicians' talents. Applejack's voice in there especially works so well in this, and it makes for so much emotion as the ponies' voices resonate with our Passion.

Instrumental-wise, the blend of NeverLastStanding's Orchestral skill and PegasYs' Glitch Hop expertise is really magical, and the whole track feels heavenly and blows me away like Ponies at Dawn so often do in that special way.

There's gonna be more songs from the album showcased on the channel so get hyped for more, and also of course look forward to the full release of this very promising new entry in Ponies at Dawn! The album is gonna be premiered during a live release party on PonyvilleFM at 5PM EDT/9PM UTC on the 28th of September, with the party happening in the PonyvilleFM Discord server! "The song's backstory so far is it's about the near future where ponies invent "time travel" but all they can do is control a robot in the future with a VR helmet. They can't go back in time with it. But when a pony tries to log on the pathway gets broken and she gets stuck in a dystopian construct generated by the smart AI usually reserved to generate fun VR games. For a while it keeps getting more corrupt but she breaks through eventually and gets to the loading screen of the actual future but it's going to be permanently corrupted at the end."

Ponyville Ciderfest, Wisconsin’s premier My Little Pony fan convention, returns for our 5th year from Oct 26-28, 2018 as the BIGGEST MLP Music Festival EVER! This charity album was put together in order to celebrate all of the awesome musicians who are taking part, and to give everybody a memento to help remember the weekend by.
