"The Wailing Sound" is the third lead track from the new album Backwater, which will be released worldwide by Ripple Music on Nov. 13th, 2015. "The Wailing Sound" varies from the first two singles in its wide dynamic range and features Andrea Vidal on backing vocals from Portland-based Holy Grove. The longest track on the album and opener for Side B, the song demonstrates Chron Goblin's versatility on the album and provokes their darker and melodic tendencies.

The Wailing Sound

"Seattle" is the second track on Backwater and was inspired by an inebriated jam session at Seattle's Experience Music Project. The song features a more relaxed tempo with crushing choruses and a melodic finesse.
