Here is the live recording from my Saturday, 6/25/2022 1:30-2:45pm poolside set at Friends N Family's summer campout. It's always an honor to be selected to DJ at this very special event & so my track selection is not decided lightly. Since it was near 100F and early afternoon, I wanted to go for a light, happy, loving, classic funky house vibe that would mesh well while you're laying on your floaty in the pool. Otherworld 2024 was arguably the best regional I've ever burned at, and Skybar absolutely smashed it! I really didn't know what I had signed up for when I showed up to play my Friday night set, but I knew that I had to follow Candy Whip, so I prepared a filthy mix of Bass House & Breakbeats. 

However, I actually went "off book" around 2/3rds of the way into my set. I was getting super frustrated over some technical issues that I could not figure out. Thankfully, the lovely Justin Barnes noticed a loose RCA cable coming out of my controller, which explained what I was hearing. Finally able to enjoy myself, I decided to end with a sillier, more troll-y direction, which I think represents Skybar pretty well :) Enjoy!
