Are we quick to criticise or do we see others through Jesus’ eyes?
Do we gossip and spread rumour or do we choose to speak with honour?

Are we consumed with our greed or do we share with those in need?
Do we act in selfishness or do we search for ways to bless?

Father hear our cry out of the depths to you our Lord on high
We come before you now, as we confess our wrongs and lay them down
We don’t deserve another chance, but you have made a way in sacrifice                           
Father we confess to You.

Are we chasing fame and glory or do we long to tell Your story?
Do we live like we know best, or do we go to God for rest?
