Stelios Vassiloudis is a multifaceted composer, producer and DJ hailing from Athens, Greece. Active in the electronic music since the early 2000s, he has cultivated a sound of his own - one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms. Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing the globe as a DJ and live performer - performing at i ntimate underground clubs in Beirut, festivals in Miami, afterhours in Tokyo, beaches in Goa and mega clubs in Argentina. His studio prowess and coveted productions cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he developed a formidable discography on esteemed labels such as Bedrock, Poker Flat, Ovum, Constant Sound, Darkroom Dubs and Balance, among others. Now, entering a new phase of his career, Stelios prepares to unveil his sophomore album, a collection of works that marks a departure from the narrow confines of clubmusic and represents the essence of what he’s all about – an album that mergesthe limitless possibilities of electronic music, his formidable training in composition and his diverse influences. Ten years on from the release of his debut LP, his detail oriented offerings remain incomprehensibly thought-provoking and thorough. Both emotive and technically astute, the creative intuition packed into All Else Fails is almost difficult to fathom - a balanced compilation of grand compositions, paired with subtle, nuanced pieces that is set to engage and entice audiences across an altogether broader spectrum. Stelios’ intense passion and drive for innovation in music serves as the fuel to keep him inspired and relevant, qualities that no doubt ensure his reputation as an artist of the highest calibre, will endure.

It's been a long time since I recorded a mix. Finding the time to put the hours of planning and thought into a 4 hour mix like this is tough, but sometimes needed. Throughout the years I've Dj-ed, I've always thought it's important to timestamp a moment in time and put out a collection of music that says where I've been, where I am and where I'm going. Since I've had no gigs so far in 2020, I decided it was the perfect time to do just this. 

This mix has a lot of reasoning and influence after last years intense but beautiful schedule. From WUITW to Burning Man, from festivals to after parties, I feel my musical back catalogue is more diverse and dynamic than ever before. With this mix I wanted to capture true after party culture. 

Throughout 2019 I spent many wondrous hours exploring and experimenting within these after party golden hours, often from sunrise to sunset. I challenged my own personal endurances and feel it's made me more open minded as a person and as a DJ. With this set I wanted to showcase the sounds that I feel my friends and I truly connected with. I wanted to challenge and make people question who they are and how they feel, whilst of course, wanting to entertain. Striking this good balance between these two goalposts is a line I will always want to traverse.

This mix whilst it can be enjoyed at any hour, I encourage you to play it within those magical, witching moments of which it's meant for. The frequencies within will resonate more profoundly when your mind, body and soul are elsewhere, but YOU are still very much there (!). 

After hours, wherever you may find yourself, wherever you may be in the world 🌎

Driven by his musical passion André Lodemann has been a scene's mainstay for more than two decades releasing few but quality music. His latest contribution was a remix for FC Kahuna's track Hayling for which he collaborated with long time companion Fabian Dikof and was out late 2019. With more music in the pipe the wait for a full Lodemann-ish release after his album The Deeper You Go on his co-run label Best Works in 2018 might be close. To shorten the wait until new tracks from André will hit stores the passionate Berliner musician has compiled the latest edition of the art:cast special edition, namely an 82 minute lasting journey through his record box, through melodic tunes or such with a preference for a percussive note. Whichever way you look at it André's musical approach remains that of creating a synergy between warm and organic sounds as well as grooving and driving bass lines with a housy vibe. However one wants to classify or call it Lodemann remains true to one sound even though he passes through different genres and delivers an authentic overall composition only a dedicated artist can compile.

Bec's passion for music delves deeply to a neuroscience level with her avid research on music's powerful effects on the brain in neurological conditions and her rehabilitation for people with cognitive and movement disorders.

Bec is constantly pushing the boundaries with her visionary sounds, paving the way for female artists in the underground scene. She lets her music knowledge and 10 years of experience in the scene do the talking. She really knows how to capture and excite an audience with her smoothly transitioned sets and individual groove which separates her from the numerous generic “techno” artists that are seen today. Her stage presence is second to none, bringing you a journey of euphoria and electricity, leaving you questioning what the hell you are listening to!
