Because of Revali’s cocky attitude he just didn’t want Link’s help. He felt as if he would be fine, but of course  he wasn’t. SOS is there but it’s slightly faded.

Guys the SOS doesent start until minutes into the song, thats a SEARCH AND DESTROY signal from gannon "SAD" "SAD" "SOS" "DESTROY"

When you find out he was asking for help the feeling is worse then fear
