Chuc ConZ is an aspiring artist with a dream of making it to be recognized as one of the top lyricist in the world. Coming from humble beginnings he wasn’t provided with the greatest childhood. In spite of all obstacles and trials he has faced, this young man has vowed to never give up. Growing up in the vast and ever changing community of Pleasant Grove also known as “The Greedy Grove” in Dallas, Texas. Chuc ConZ (whose birth name is Joshua Conner) always felt as if he was meant to be more than just average. He had an enormous imagination and the dream of one day being an entertainer. He started to rap and write songs at an early age and though he had a big mountain to climb he would let nothing stand in his way. Making his start in the church he would begin to piece together songs as church spin-offs with his two brothers. After which he would begin to get a bit more serious when he entered high school. From there he would record his first song “Cops is Comin”. Only heard and played by a few, you could see a passion for the art and a unique attentiveness to the instrumental that made his voice seem to float right inside the beat. After Graduating he ventured off to college to further his knowledge of his craft. He would continue to record and write songs throughout this time, but being that he was severely shy and self conscious, not much would be released. Over the years he would start to build a family and begin working for a living. Due to this he would be forced to put his dream of music as a job on the back burner.Set back after set back, failed relationships one after another he fell into a depression. Feeling like he let himself down, he hated to look in the mirror. He began to have legal troubles due to self medicating with cannabis. Never losing the itch to create he would always write songs even if no one ever heard them, he just loved making music. Tragedy struck time and time again, costing home his father and his family. Left with a hole in his existence, he began to stuff it with as much knowledge as he could get his hands on. Anything to help him further his skill and heighten is intelligence regarding this amazing art form. Finding the strength and confidence within himself to persevere through his trails he worked constantly on sharpening his whit. Patiently observing, taking notes and waiting his opportunity to show all the haters that they were horribly wrong about him.￼ Still a mountain of legal woes, he would end up in jail frequently , nothing to serious until 2017 when was jail for felony possession. As a result he revived probation in which he failed miserably again and again. Following the sudden death of his best friend of ten years he would spiral out of control and land him in jail for real this time. 11 months away, alone, down but not broken he would mentally get his mind to a place where he would be unable to contain upon his return.  Battle tested, hood certified, and hater-proof he is on a mission. Watch as he gives everything in his being to achieving his dream of doing music for a living and one day be known as a great!!!!
