Do Well of the early aughts independent rap group Sight Beyond Light, a group that saw success in a collaboration with British group the Dub Pistols, Chuck Spears has been in and out of the rap game. But He’s back with the Unbalanced EP an album that shows his Id, Ego and Super Ego fighting for control of his identity. His Super Ego has politically motivated songs like Bottled Up and Change the Name, while his Id releases tracks like Drinkin’ All Night and A Spear Chucker Now, while the ego just spits about the everyday struggles on tracks like Good Money and Recognition.
