Alright, there's slightly more than meets the digital AI with this one.

A Chicago born music artist with a foundation of house beats, Chuck can site much of his earliest dance music upbringing to the likes of Z95 and WNUR in the Chicagoland area.

Rewind to the late 80s or early 90s and you'll see the primitive, artistic beginnings of this future DJ.  During an era when cassettes and boomboxes were more the norm, Chuck learned to dub songs and craft his earliest mixtapes around the same time he learned to ride a bike.  Leaning towards the newest rock releases or synth-heavy electronica of the era, he was known to compile some of the cooler mixtapes in the area and often spent hours and hours and hours searching through various collections to narrow down a fresh sounding playlist reflective of the era.  No different from his habits of today, Chuck presents some odd, underground mixtape catalog dating back over 30 years.

Chuck attended decent schools in the far, far, far away land known as Arlington Heights. [it's actually only 20 minutes northwest of the city but is viewed as light years away by an average Chicago born soul who never left their block.]  He was taught to read music, play various instruments, and adapted foundational introductions to the world of music early on.  Amidst an environment of other music fanatics, his tastes were broadened extensively during his teenage years.

At 18, Chuck relocated out west to the state of Nevada with family.  A few years thereafter, he started working 40+ hour weeks with a local printing outlet.  By day, he was taught design and served as a promotional aid for all sorts of Las Vegas nightclubs and local artists.  Before being able to legally set foot into a nightclub, he was contributing all sorts of artistic angles and assisting with promotional projects for some of the largest nightclubs his country had to offer.  By night, he was being personally mentored by other artists in turntablism.

Long after dabbling with simplistic practices involving ordinary musical instruments, Chuck started to dive into more advanced electronica production in his early 20s.  A return to Chicago in the years to follow attracted local music fans when his "Apocalypse 13" moniker yielded numerous, cutting edge tech trance productions.  A Chicago Independent Award Nomination was shortly to follow.  Fast forward 5 or 10 years and his catalog expanded 5 fold.  

Now releasing under the alias Chuck Stygian, he's been gradually attracting more attention on an international level.  His Taboo Impressions imprint has surpassed 50 releases and is attracting eyes and ears of electronica fans the world over.  Offering numerous collaborations and an array of songs with different tempos, his catalog presents a wide variety of works playing along the lines of progressive, hard techno, pop dance, trance, and hard house.  Focusing on slightly higher energy productions, his sound deviates quite a bit from his proggy foundational roots of Chicago but not from where his road has led.

He once again resides in the western U.S. in the kind, small town of Mesquite, Nevada for the time being.  When not working a night job centered around entertainment but not directly music related, he takes on new productions in a minimalist studio environment.  By this time, taking into account his extensive work history dating back to the 20th century, he totes nearly 2 decades "behind the decks" and 40,000 professional working hours in the areas of design, printing, art sales & negotiations, live entertainment, and much more.
