“Blond”, the third full-length effort by Jaythedøn is an attempt at solidifying the no-autotune, original sound that he originally entered the music scene with. The album “Blond” is a dedication to rebirth and other forms of reset. Blonde hair has been associated with youth, vitality, and purity. In many cultures, blonde hair is viewed as a symbol of beauty and desirability. The album itself is an autobiography that reflects (Jaythedøn’s) struggles and experiences in life, while also taking inspiration from instrumentals used by Frank Ocean’s album of the same name.
