Two Face

This Ep was created to bring awareness to the one of the causes of gun violence amongst our youth, mental illness. So many factors can take play in this, and the one this EP is rooted toward is mental abuse. Growing up, I was exposed to many hardships that a child could never be ready for, including abuse, at home and at school. What hurt me most was the disconnection from my mother who was suffering from schizophrenia.  Watching my mother lose her mind felt as though I was watching my mother die in front of me, day by day. I had so many chances to be the kid that flipped on everyone around me. I could've been that kid who said "I'm done with life", and brought a gun to school to release all of my anger from not having someone to listen to my voice. This is a story told from my perspective, but with a "what if" twist. I had my younger siblings to look out for which is what saved me from that path, but not everyone has a savior. Those are the ones that everyone points the finger at, and claims were "Two Face". They claim that they never showed signs, that they never cried for help, but was anyone even listening?
