This is a Premaster render of a track I'm very proud of. It's planned to be the final song of my debut album.
I combined different elements of Electronic and Hip-Hop music in this piece, using Trap drums (many of which I synthesized myself) and a Trap arrangement for first verse and the choruses (better known at drops in modern production), and the sound design of Color Bass (a melodic subgenre of Dubstep) over the drums.
This combination of Electronic and Hip-Hop is something I'm very proud of, and I believe that as a person who has spent my life immersed in Hip-Hop and carried my love for it into my Electronic productions, I have a unique and special style.

PREMASTER Valediction (Goodbye)

This is a track my brother and I made. Rather, he gave me vague ideas and I created a track from them.
I had a lot of fun working on this track because of the many liberties I took on making the bass stand out and carry the entire song. Really, all the drums were the best part. I made use of 808 slides (a method in which the bass instrument is pitched up or down without starting a new note) and heavy Trap drums to fill the mix with saturated low end and punchy percussion. The bridge serves as a transition from Trap to Drill, another subgenre of Hip-Hop. It was my first time producing Drill, and I think I did pretty well. I've of course improved in the style, but I'm proud of how I was able to add a surprising yet smooth beat-switch.
