The Kommittee - Victims Of The System

Dj Churp is a Christchurch based Dj and music producer.Over the past 10 years Churp has been an avid beatboxer performing at various open mic nights and countless parties.For the last year Churp has decided to take his game to the next level by learning in the ways of turntablism and music production.With a background in hip hop Churp aims to please and get heads nodding as he incorporates his beatboxing talents into live Dj performances.Dont be fooled by the heavy hip hop influences,Churp also mixes various styles of music including Trap,Drum & bass,Dubstep,Funk,as well as a dash of house music

Churp has been Djing for just under one year.In that year he has played at Dubaholics anonymous music festival,Waste management music festival,as well as various parties and events in the greater Christchurch area.Churp has also competed in two Dj competitions,the first being RDU Decknology where he reached the semi finals,the second being the MAINZ Dj competition known as Judgement day where he placed 1st out of 4 finalists.

Showing no signs of slowing down,Churp is currently preparing for next years RDU Decknology,As well as preparing for his debut set at the NZ DMC competition.He is also looking forward to playing a support slot for Concord Dawn this new years eve.You can expect Churp to bring the fire in his live performances as he hones and sharpens his skills in the process
