it really hurts to upload this but i dont see myself realistically finishing this au Ever genuinely... this was one of the first songs i made for it post-revamp and i eventually realized i'd rather just throw in the towel and upload it rather than let it potentially rot on my old laptop's hard drive forever. i just dont have the time or energy to work on aus anymore unfortunately
last edited in mid june but was in a "finished" state as far back as early may. if i ever do end up finishing the au by some miracle i'll probably remake this completely anyway

UMBRATALE - Penumbra Phantasm (Scrapped)

With Undertale Alternate, one of the "rules" i decided to impose to myself was to give each character a respective tone key. For instance, most of Sans' themes would be in C minor, for Papyrus it was F# minor, and so on. As the soundtrack progressed and I worked more on it, I decided to break that rule more often because at times it would make most character themes sound repetitive, and that might be something you'll notice if you re-listen to the soundtrack.

For Mettaton, most of his character themes were on G# minor, but i decided to tune DbG down 2 semitones because it just sounds much better in this pitch. As for the track itself, it draws a lot of inspiration from Sonic music, specially Stardust Speedway and Metallic Madness. Having said that, enjoy!

BIG SHOT V3 BIRTHDAY SPECIAL (Ft. Apple)

Personally I have conflicted thoughts with this one. If you've tried modding the game to include some tracks, you'll notice that many "timed" events like Bergentruckung have use code to match certain things with the original songs, and since many of the Alternate songs have different times and stuff, this results on these tracks not lining up with the in-game events. 

To avoid this with Finale, which is one of the clearest examples of what I mean, I made it using sort of the same structure and BPM of the original. While in-game this works much better, I feel like it was very restrictive and that I could have done something more original with this one. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy.
