I started out on this 'Launchpad' journey not really knowing where it would take me.  280+ songs later I'm still not sure.  What I do know is it's been a learning curve, an education of sorts, on how to put together a song that hopefully sounds okay.  So here's a selection of the songs that I think (hope) have hit the mark.  Let me know your thoughts.

Every time I 'go back in time' and have a listen to some of my earlier attempts at making songs, I'm always drawn to Launchpad Session 01.  I've been meaning to rework my first ever foray into the wonderful world of Launchpad for a while now.  That opportunity occurred over the weekend just gone.  So here's my 'post COVID-19 update' of one of many personal favourites!  I hope you enjoy!!

And here's something a little bit different (again).  I was on one last night and couldn't stop!  And I sincerely hope you're enjoying this 'journey' as much as I am.  Regardless of whether each song is good or bad, I'm putting them all out there because one day, it'll be nice to look (listen) back and hopefully see a (positive) progression.  Now there are a few people who might know this person but when I was putting this song together, I thought of him.  He's been an inspiration in my musical life for many years and his output still sounds as fresh today as it did way back in the 1990's!  So Harald Blüchel (aka Cosmic Baby), this ones for you!

Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Meanwhile, hailing from Germany but now based in Brazil, D-Nox has continued to thrill fans with both cutting edge music and enlightening DJ sets. Whether operating in solo capacity or as one half of D-Nox and Beckers, the German artist lays claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Bedrock, Einmusika, Sudbeat and his own Sprout imprint.
