Welcome to the release number 17th of Cicuta Netlabel. When the talent and creativity of an artist springs forth as a virulent form, it’s difficult to put it any limits. That's why this time, we have opted for a long release (LP). The protagonist of this month is Croatian Hadji, artist who worked with us in the past (release 010), and wanted to offer the fruits of their vast artistic quality.

Welcome to the release number 23 of Cicuta Netlabel. It’s often said that unity is strength, and in musical terms, this statement takes a lot more sense. The phenomenon by which two completely different minds collaborate in a process as personal and creative as creating music is extraordinary. Perhaps one of the things, creativity, which still separates us from the rest of the species...

In addition to joining two minds in the creative process itself, we have joined together two historically land, such as Chile and Spain. From Chile we present Angelo Krizashi, an artist who has recorded a few months ago an excellent podcast for our catalog and on this occasion gives us his producer side. In his long career as producer, he has visited several net labels friends like AudioExit or Zimmer Records.

Welcome to the release number 24 of Cicuta Netlabel. Gnosis is spoken of as a concept to describe the supreme knowledge, as a legacy from the deities to humans. We prefer the concept of "the awakening of consciousness”, something that basically we pursue with this project. The musical awakening of consciousness to open free music channels...

In this release we back to travel around the world. We started our trip in Rome, Italy, where we have the pleasure of meeting with VSK, founder and manager of Consumer Recreation Services Recordings, and with some interesting releases on labels like Fluxus or Sonntag Morgen.

We return to Spain to meet again with an old good friend, Zair, who accompanied us on the reference number 3 and that makes again 21 references after an evolution in their sound, more mature and consistent than ever.

We flew to Berlin to bring you the sound of José Bou, better known as JoyB. He comes to Cicuta Netlabel with his mental and elegant techno, having published some of his work on labels as interesting as Main Concept.

We return to Spain to present to DubReverb, Madrid based artist representing one of our regular "exceptions" in terms of our musical line. From time to time we like to get away a little from harder techno and work of this artist is truly exceptional.

We continue our journey from Russia, featuring Oleg Pw, an artist with a touch eclectic in their productions, common in our experience with the Russian school. A breath of fresh air to the actual scene.

Finally, as usual, we present one of our jobs as Drugstore.

Welcome to the release number 25 of Cicuta Netlabel. This year has brought strong changes in our personal lifes. As in other steps in the life, has been great moments and difficult moments. We’re very grateful of no changes in your support to our work, and, most important, to free techno music. To close this year, we would like to present you a new artist coming to Cicuta Netlabel for show his techno vision, dutch resident in UK, Willem B. Compromised from years ago with free music (in his Soundcloud profile you can find a lot of free stuff), he present 3 tracks which fits perfectly with our musical line, with acid and dark sounds, industrial atmospheres,… You will be pleased, for sure.

About remixers, we have two very special collaborations. In one side we have to hungarian Robert Kiss, more known as Doryk, or, Formal Method. This veteran of netaudio scene is manager of one of the most important netlabels in the hard/dark techno style, Audioexit Records, which recently has reached 6 years on air. Robert is also involved in other labels such as Black Strategy Records and Techno Pulse Records. We’re really happy to have one old friend on board.

On the other side we have (again) to Structural Form, artist resident in Madrid, partner of so many battles from years, and who always seduce us with his personal style, always hard, always old-school… One pleasure for us and for our ears.

Welcome to the release number 26 of Cicuta Netlabel. A new year comes, a blank book where we're writing new experiences and new challenges. For our part we hope will be a year full of techno, great discoveries and new projects. Also hope to have you on board on this trip.

We begin this 2014 featuring one of the artists who has surprised us in 2013, the German Mono.xID. This artist proposes a techno extremely focused to the dance floor, away from the sober and heavy style prevailing in the international scene. In this line he presents us 3 tracks which show very well what we have said about him.

About remixers, we have 2 old label’s friend. On the one hand we have Vegim, an artist who had the immense pleasure of having in the first release of Cicuta back in 2011, and since then he has done nothing but produce success after success, through labels such as Planet Rythm, Shout Records, Naked Lunch, Onh.Cet, We Call It Hard or Mastertraxx.

On the other hand we have (again) Croatian i1 Ambivalent, which also appeared in the first release and which in recent years has continued linked to the netlabel world, with releases on labels like Kidnapping or Dark Garden and also releases on commercial labels like Labrynth. This time he offers us two versions of the same track, so we have more to choose from.

Welcome to the release number 27 of Cicuta Netlabel. It is said that fragrances always are sold in small vials. We somehow have made this our said. For the first time, we released an EP in reduced format of only 3 cuts. Why?. The answer is simple, no need to add anything to the 3 Special remixes of which was the first LP in Cicuta.

That LP, entitled Darkness In Casual World, and signed by the Croatian Hadji, was one of the most successful releases from our catalog last year, with more than 3,000 listens on Soundcloud and almost 800 downloads at Archive.org.

As for the remixers, we have Mr. Voidloss, artist with whom we had the pleasure of working on the fifth reference of Cicuta, and today is the second most downloaded from our catalog. Apart from this, owner of Black Monolith Studio and Singularity Recordings, with years of experience, success and recognition behind it, what more can we say?

On the other hand we have again to Croatian i1 Ambivalent. We can’t add so much to what was said in all his previous collaborations with us, the last in the release 026.

Our trip begins in Madrid, heading to Andalusia, but the end of the road is totally different. It seems incredible that so bright land gives us so dark music, it's exciting...

Welcome to the release number 29 of Cicuta Netlabel. There are images that speak for themselves. The cover of this month is one of them. So sit down and enjoy the movie.

We started our trip in France, to present Antony Dupont, manager of Bass Pressure Records, which releases have been very important support of people like Dave Clarke or Laurent Garnier.

We jumped across the planet, to Japan, to find Yuuki Sakai, a Japanese guy who is calling at the gates of major labels. With his dark and heavy style has managed to publish in important labels such as Warm Up, Subsist, Sonntag Morgen or Kidnapping Netlabel.

We return to Europe in the hands of German Komabase, which already had the pleasure of publishing last year. It brings a very special track which has been played by Dave Clarke on his radio show White Noise.

We return to travel to France to present to 14Anger, an artist that we haven’t much more information than his own music. We don’t need it, talent speaks for itself...

For the next artist, we travel to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. There we will find in Argentina to Lukas Seidel, known as 6_DEL. We don’t know so much about him, only a release in the netlabel Betanol Records. We will have to track him very closely...

In this release we present an old friend, the British artist Hoth System. Delivered almost 100% to free music (in fact his Soundcloud profile almost all tracks available for free download), it has gone through some netlabels friends, as Kidnapping Netlabel or District Facility. His style is quite varied and difficult to snap on a particular sound, but almost everything he does worth listening. A value to follow...

As for the remixers, first introduced in Cicuta to Stingrays from Singapore, that brings his heavy and dark techno. He is a very prolific artist in recent times, we can find his tracks in very interesting labels like Gynoid , Induxtriall Records, We Call It Hard or Kidnapping in the netlabel world.

On the other hand, we have the pleasure of welcoming to Cicuta to a friend, which we had long wanted to have on our roster. He is the Madrid based artist Razeed, manager of Geometrika FM project, with years of experience in the nightlife and the techno scene and a true musical scholar. He bring us a very mental remix, as he is.

Welcome to the release number 36 of CicutaNetlabel. After a rather tough year in our personal lives, we return to the fray to try to provide our monthly ration of quality techno. We changed the way we work to strengthen the label and try to offer the best of ourselves and artists who collaborate with the label. We hope to keep up with the good work ;).

Responsible for signing this new release is Bebhionn, Asturian artist that although not well known, certainly from this release will stay into your diaries to track him. He brings a very edgy sound, in line with the most successful producers of European techno scene. To give an analogy in our catalog, we reminiscent Kwartz’sproductions, which is synonymous with success.

As for remixers (and this is where we changed a little our philosophy), we wanted our own artists participate with their vision of the new releases. That is why we can hear The Thinker (CICUTA016), AbizSonko (CICUTA031) , Substak (CICUTA021), Alberto Morales (CICUTA034), Neglëk (will sign a CICUTA EP coming soon) and 6DEL (CICUTA032). All artists of quality rather than proven and who have completed (in our humble opinion) an EP extraordinary.

Welcome to the release number 37 of Cicuta Netlabel. In the mid-1500, the Spaniards settled in Mexico began to arrive to Japan to expand Christianity. In Cicuta Netlabel, five centuries later, we do the reverse journey, a Japanese who lives in Mexico who comes to Spain to teach his creed, Techno.

Responsible for signing this new release is Taiki Ozawa, Japanese artist who brings his particular vision of techno, dark, industrial, with the influence of his famous compatriots as Takaaki Itoh or Kuniaki Takenaga. Linked to the world of music since 2003, and having recently signed by Mexico Latin Bass Records, we augur a present and a bright future to this great artist.

As for remixers, we have an old friend, Czech Spigl, who accompanied us on the reference number 20 and that has given us a real shot, what you can not miss ;).

Cicuta Netlabel is a project focused on bringing quality techno music throughout the world, for free, without prejudice. Our differentiator is that we want to have well-known artists, those that are not typically seen in the netaudio scene, and combining its proven quality with talent and drive of those artists who are growing and only need the world to discover their work to seduce.

Our intention is to publish a monthly EP. These EPs will always be licensed under Creative Commons, and will can be downloaded for free from archive.org.

To complement the aforementioned, we also want to have the best mixers of the techno scene, providing a monthly podcast to all our supporters.

What kind of music can you expect on our releases/podcast? The response is TECHNO, in upper case, and with several shades: dark, hard, industryal, melodic,…. We don’t want to lock ourselves in a unique style. If its techno, and we like it, we will publish it.
