While still in the womb Ciera was exposed to a healthy dose of music and live performances, after all, her parents had to take her everywhere at that time. When she was a baby, Ciera's mother, Terry sang to her constantly. Ciera was fed a steady diet of motherly love, James Taylor, Motown, Beatles and 50's oldies before she could even walk. Later, while in Pre-K, Ciera was often found in the bathroom belting out what sounded like bits and pieces of original songs. Teachers would drift into the halls to see where all the ruckus was coming from only to find a small girl in a flowery dress with a large voice. By kindergarten she was ready for a microphone and a stage as she took on her first audience and solo performance at Wilson grammar school in Lodi, NJ.

Ciera received her first acoustic guitar on her 12th birthday. Not knowing any chords and on a challenge from a neighbor to write a song "within the hour" she returned 20 minutes later with her first completed song, "Moving", consisting of two chords she discovered and some catchy original lyrics. She has not looked back since that day and is an avid singer and songwriter. Now a student at Roxbury High School she has a dozen plus original songs under her belt and she continues to crank out more originals every chance she gets. She loves Choir and Drama Club and participates in both passionately while finding time to represent her community at NJ All State Choir and perform at local open-mics, benefits and festivals as well as appearing on local radio. Her extremely talented friends and excellent teachers are a constant inspiration to her and she is very blessed and proud to be part of a vibrant and creative performing arts community in Roxbury, NJ.
