Epicenter is a tape piece for processed percussion instruments and oboe. It was created after a personal experience at the August 17, 1999 earthquake in Istanbul.

Epicenter

Scored for cello quartet, "Reflection" is a mixture of jazz and french impressionist influence. Even its' meter and rhythm fall victim to an impressionist style. 

All music was composed, performed, and produced by Jeff McAuley at cellobandstudios in Binghamton, New York.

Reflection

Recorded live on March 15, 2013 at the Vortex Series for New and Improvised Music. This is the 3rd Movement of 'Songs of Joyce' by John Heiss, featuring soprano Jessica Cooper, clarinetist Todd Brunel and pianist Scott Nicholas.
