Cihan Baris,  a professional musician of 20+ years, has been a part of a multitude of projects fullfilling such roles as guitars, keyboards, bass, production, composing and songwriting over the years. Aside from his musical projects, Cihan is also an active DK known as DISKOmUnIST. He has started DJing in 1999 in Los Angeles, CA under his own name. The DISKOmUnIST monicker was born after his move to Istanbul in order to seperate his artist identity from his DJ profile and also to bring a community of people together around the love of dance music.
