About Melo.Nade:
The name Melo.Nade stems from the fluid flow of the sound. With a diverse musical palette and almost 20 years of experience behind decks, Melo.Nade has refined his ability to read and move crowds at any time of day. Balancing dark and light, you can expect to hear sounds from deep dubstep to lustful world beats, breaks/garage, grime/hip-hop/trip-hop/soul/R&B, and thought-provoking bass music. Melo.Nade’s recent festival appearances in 2023 include Envision, Shambhala, and Wicked Woods.
Beyond beats, Melo.Nade's music holds purpose. A life-altering traumatic brain injury in 2019 shaped the trajectory of his artistry, leading him to embrace a shift in perspective and boundaries for self-care. To him, music is a conduit for emotional release, empowering listeners to work through inner tensions and find a cathartic release.

As a classically trained pianist driven by a passion for sonic exploration, Melo.Nade brings a unique perspective to his productions that fuse instrumental and world music with trip hop, dubstep, and sound system culture. Music production has been essential in Melo.Nade’s healing journey and he aspires to produce music that invokes healing for his listeners.

Whether it’s a one hour festival set that turns into a 3+ hour happenstance, Melo.Nade is prepared to keep the dance going with heavy chill vibrations.

About Myles away:
Myles Away is a multimedia project specializing in music curation, production, and graphic design. As the newest member of the SHAHdjs, a key contributor to the Bass Coast design team, and the driving force behind Smokey Crow Records, his roots run deep in Vancouver's cultural soil, dating back to 2008 with the Integrated Grime Unit.

Beginning with experiments in glitch-hop and hard bass, presently, Myles Away delves into the shadowed realms of Deep Dubstep and Drum and Bass echoing with darker sounds and energies of the ether while still keeping it vibey.

This August I got to venture off from my home bass on Vancouver Island to the other coast of Canada to New Brunswick for Future Forest Festival.
