Joining the label for the first time for Cimmerian Volume 3 is rising Vancouver Island talent @officialsundog. Sundog joins us with his track "Echoes".

After a year of curating we are honored to finally unveil an offering pulled from the depths of our ancient Cimmerian vaults. We have our third compilation album "Cimmerian Volume 3" joining the catalogue for CR020. Filled with 12 stellar tracks from new and returning faces to the label.
This collection of Dubstep/140 is an alluring chronicle of hypnotic rhythms woven together by velvety melodies that enchants listeners and awakens something profound and primal within.

“Intro” by Valloa opens the door, inviting us into the deep, provoking intrigue. This suspense is built upon with “Roots” by label head Kilbourne , appropriately named as a pristine representation of the label’s fundamental sound. “Choose the Sword” is brought to us by Mystic State and tells a mesmerizing story that balances the character of this collection. Sundog then joins us with “Echoes”, bringing a grounding, organic element. LSN & Joe Nice feature bewitching vocals from Aporetic in “Sonic Corridor”, delivering the powerful message of Land Back and unity. “Seeker” by Daega Sound comes in haunting and unapologetic. Then Darkai joins us with “The Tempest” which transports us to an earthy realm of dubstep with a composition of lush layers. “Cobble” follows this mode, pinning us down with a wave of rippling bass, brought to us by Kami-O. “No Hands” is brought to us by Sadan, this one is dancefloor focused, meeting us at the depths. Saraphim then fulfills their promise with Rakjay on vocals by hitting the target with “Marksmen". “Broken Bridge” brightens the lower end of the album’s sound with another dancefloor focused track featuring eclectic drums and high energy bass . Finally, Leland River brings us to the precipice with “Amnesia”, a cathartic track that sails us home.

The album is mythical and explorative with dense elemental motifs that elevate the fundamentals of dubstep whilst pulling listeners into the understated fluidity of sound that makes Cimmerian Records distinctive. This new wave washes listeners in deep bass, leaving little room to come up for air before surrendering to the safe, seductive sound that laces the foundations of our label. This compilation is a beautiful portrayal of the intricate power of a story told by many voices.
