Two new tracks “Berlin” and “Do I Really Need You” see her develop on the deep, modern and melodic style of house music she crafted on her excellent debut LP “Genuine Silk” (Dial Records) and across previous EPs on Cologne powerhouse Kompakt.

More underground goodies from Fort Romeau & Ali Tillett’s super-consistent split EP series, as New Jackson and Will Lister take a side each and lay down two impeccable tracks a piece. 

New Jackson continues the heat from his recent Permanent Vacation release, and takes the lead with two full strength 23rd century disco joints.  Robust, yet glittering, and oozing charm; ‘Glass Stabs’ thumps with latent funk and is nowhere near as sharp and spiky as its name suggests, while ‘Moonfeel’ plays the contrary, living up to its name with a one way trip to the furthest edges of the cosmos, on a rocket powered by Orbital influences.

New-gen house crafter, Will Lister, joins the fray with two equally delicious pieces. ‘Disruption’ strides with string-struck confidence, and a fluid set of broken drums, and ‘Windblown’ brings us to a poignant finale with staccato rim shots, hazy chords and a jazzy, playful, Vibert-style acid riff.  As always with Cin Cin, the complementary nature between the two artists is so strong, it’s almost tangible.

Delicate electronics bubble, and icy melodies float over ‘Mira’s spacey aura, bringing together elements of 90s IDM and minimal techno in a refreshing way.  On ‘Naos’, a chugging groove and Italo inspired bassline unfolds to expose a transcendental lead line and a cosmic semblance that’s as infectious as it is irresistible.  

Cin Cin founder, Fort Romeau, delivers two cuts on home turf, teaming up with Jas Shaw (one half of Brit electronic duo, Simian Mobile Disco, and currently releasing solo material as part of his Exquisite Cops series) for a brace of deep, intergalactic tracks.  ‘Saturn Ascends’ is a space age, acid romance, whilst ‘Voices [no.III]’ offers up a more spirited piece, with lively percussion and a flitting tonal riff that is teased and tweaked through the space echo for good measure.
