Was going for a dark, ambient, and creepy vibe for this. I wanted to make something that was unsettling to hear and something that would make you feel uneasy.

Tips and Beats 021

Been working on this off and on for the better part of 6 months. Still not super happy with everything, but the core of the melody and the instruments are pretty much where I want them. Needs a bit more polishing to keep the different parts from seeming too separate, but it is coming along nicely. I'm really going for a reflection on the retro theme, while mixing in a bit of the Zelda 3 overworld as well.

Just remembered I never uploaded this here. In retrospect it needs a SERIOUS equalizer. 

 My 80s grunge rock/electronic remix of the song "Because It's Midnight" created by Limozeen (aka. The Brothers Chaps aaka. homestarrunner.com) Spent a really long time on this track, and sadly less time on the drawing that accompanied it.
