Every time I consider to finally step down from the DJ booth with a bold statement another opportunity arises with a high promise to become the chance for an even bolder statement. And her I am, continuing.

So, what to play this time? One recent night gave me the inspiration: a music lovers' trio (me included) hanging at a friend's place while tripping smoothly on mushrooms (me excluded) was wondering which music would be the appropriate accompaniment.

I proposed my "Psychedelic Soul" set (it's here on my SC page) which I believe belongs to the most flawless and fluid mixes I ever managed to conduct. Somehow the flow happened almost by itself here, plus: "surrounded by nature, outdoors vibes and the heavy, monsoon-like rain must have been a great inspiration". So why not get this spirit back into the club, surrounded by a Get Perlonized nature, family vibes, and a heavy monsoon-like love for music! Consequently, back home I delved into the shelves of club psychedelia that had remained untouched and dusty for quite a while.

At Zenner Club, I was very moved when quite a few people in the crowd told me that they had only come to hear me play and that my performance was the one they've been tripping to in the most pleasurable manner. Which confirms me that it is advisable never to follow a safe path in favour of always looking for an adventurous music journey (in this case with the echo of a mushroom feel). The extra fun part of the mission was: 30% of the tracks I mixed I had never played before.

These experiences keep me continuing while still looking for the ultimate boldest statement to step down from the DJ booth. It seems it didn't happen, not even this time.
