This time Ben and Danny discuss Charlotte Wells' heart-warming and heart-breaking debut feature 'Aftersun', their own holiday experiences as children and fruitlessly attempt to disguise a potent audio issue.

Ben and Danny get nice and witchy in this week's episode as they discuss the genre of folk horror and it's rise in popularity; it's key themes, key films and potential reasons why it performs well at the box office. Then they discuss Enys Men, Cornish mythology and the recurring theme of memory.

This week sees Ben and Danny recruit fellow former cineboi now cineman Lee Markham for an exhaustive deep dive into all things Cannon Films. From discussions around the companies' intrepid owners to their diverse range of releases that include the talents of Jean-Luc Godard, Charles Bronson, and Chuck Norris (not in the same film though we're afraid). We then zero in our focus on their action film output and the worth of viewing such films through the modern lens. It's explosive stuff.
