Beyond What's Here

All of us have that one memory of a person, a place, or just a time, that we often revisit. Its a memory of you not being the best version of yourself, and it is usually accompanied by the thought of all the things you would have done differently, if you had the chance to do it over. These things tend to bring you down sometimes, they have a strange grip on how your mind works and the things it cooks up, but the fact of the matter is the afterglow eventually always wears off and navy blue walls turn white (or whatever else your favorite colour is) again.

Mighty Angel

Anirudh Ravi, Bharath Kashyap, and Abheet Anand are the acoustic trio that makes up Cinema of Excess.

The music that the band plays is a careful curation of western folk, indie folk, and country
music. Inuences include artists such as The Milk Carton Kids, John Mayer, Damien Rice, Jack Johnson, and Iron & Wine. The true essence of the music the band plays, however, is wholly introspective and is something everyone relates to dierectly.

Their debut EP titled ‘Bring Back The Sound’ was released worldwide on March 3rd, 2018.

The first single of the EP titled ‘Wide Awake’ was released via Rolling Stone India along with a live music video, and the band's music is available on all major music platforms.

Cinema of Excess is currently in the studio recording more music that will help aid a deeper appreciation for the world and its lack thereof and is set to be released very soon.
