Actually some of the cuts in 1917 aren't in obvious places.  There's a moment where the two soldiers run accross some open ground then jump into a trench - camera looking at them from the front, they never go out of frame.  The cut is actually between them jumping into the trench and landing at the bottom, the second or two in between of them sliding down the mud into the trench is all CGI

the thing about quiet place is its probably not a great movie deaf people to watch (i assume) as the noises that alert the monsters are surely difficult to convey to deaf people?
