There is a local radio guy here in Seattle is worried about the automated cars knowing who you are and just taking you to jail if you have warrants or something.  He is worried if he calls a taxi and the taxi takes you to the police station if you have a outstanding ticket for like jay walking or whatever.

I love Andrew Niccoll. He wrote The Truman Show, directed Lord Of War... and even In Time that I like even though I know it's ridiculous most of the time. And Jude Law's performance is incredible in Gattacca.

I was so glad to hear you guys mention (and title the episode after) The Other Guys. One of my all time favorite action comedies and nowhere near as popular as it deserves.

what is your favorite sins chanel that has popped up since you started doing cinemasins? for example: anisins, dartigan,ect

Minority Report, apart from the premonition stuff, is an excellent choice for a "favorite" future.  I would have to go with Soylent Green, unfortunately.  For least favorite, I'd pick Brazil.  Utterly depressing in every respect.

Dang.  Last week I was going to comment about Jackie Chan's early movies, where he often played the slacker kid whose parent or teacher gets killed, so he practices hard for a few weeks -- montage! -- and becomes good enough to kill Mr. Bad.  I didn't comment because I've only seen them in Japanese dub, and don't know their English names.  But if I had commented, I would have looked prescient!

I feel like 1998's "The Big Hit" deserves a mention for a pretty astute send up of the genre while having some well executed action scenes, even if they are stylized copies of other films.

I saw a comment once from someone saying that Emilia Clarke was too young to play Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys and they should have gotten someone around the same age that Linda Hamilton was in the first film.  Linda Hamilton was 28 when The Terminator came out, Emilia Clarke was 29 when Terminator Genisys came out.
