Fractal architect - Manual/MNL/Cinematique releases

The man behind our latest signing Fractal Architect is Daniel Watts, a UK based father of four who lives in the idyllic village of Weston Super Mare. When he send us his 'Crystalline' track we fell in love with it on first listen. It's one of those songs you only come across on rare occasion. Euphoric melodies on a layer of crispy progressive breaks complemented with every day life background rumble, this is a real stellar performance by this Brit! 

On the b-side you'll find the 'Hologroove' track. More four-to-the-floor this one, but with the same quirkiness and crisp production values as the title track, 'Hologroove' soaks it's progressive flowing soundscapes on a bed of minimalistic beats and percussion.

Fractal Architect truly brings something unique to the table here, averse to genre borders which makes it both interesting- and suitable for many openminded electronic music listeners out there.

Daniel Watts aka Fractal Architect returns within the Manual family after this recent highly acclaimed 'Crystalline EP' on Manual Music. 'Overcome EP' marks the first release on the MNL label by the Englishman. In anticipation of the release of his mini album on MNL later this year, Daniel drops two fine trippy melodic tracks; the arpeggiator fueled title track and the atmospheric 'States Of Matter'. If you're into atmospheric melodies with a touch of classic psy this is the perfect release for you!

Daniel showcases his versatility as a producer, from the stunning electronica song 'Missing' until the more minimalistic 'Airlock' and with his trademark psy influenced melodic trademark sound on the other tunes, Fractal Architect truly delivers here!

London-based duo Trilucid, consisting of South African Hilton and Scotsman Andy, have, in just a short time, risen through the ranks of melodic and progressive house to become one of the stand-out acts of the moment. Their music has clocked up over 50 million streams on Spotify, topped Beatport and Traxsource charts, and drawn support from global tastemakers and underground trailblazers alike. Cinematique was found in the beginning of 2010 by Robin de Lange also known by some of his friends as the 'Manual Driver' for driving Manual Music artists around the country to their gigs. The label started as a Manual distribution label first and has become an official sister label of Manual Music since 1 January 2012.

Cinematique presents itselves as the widescreen of electronic music. It explores the boundaries from house to techno and everything in between. Cinematique offers a platform for open minded producers, known and unknown, who wants to spread their music into this universe. The label will have a strong focus on creativity, originality, danceability and diversity. 

Cinematique is sometimes edgy, sometimes dreamy, sometimes naughty, but never boring. Releases have been supported by the likes of James Holden, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier, Orde Meikle, Dr. Motte and many more.
