***The stunning debut album from Fractal Architect**

On the 19th October 2017 an astronomer at an observatory in Hawaii was looking into deep space when he saw something unusual. Through the lens of his telescope he saw an object that didn’t behave like anything he had ever seen before. 

It was travelling very fast and was following no recognised orbit. It soon became clear that this object had originated from an unimaginably distant place in the depths of interstellar space, far beyond our solar system.

Some members of the astronomy community began to postulate that this strange object might be something other than just a comet, maybe this object was a visitor from a distant world?

The object was named ‘Oumuamua after the Hawaiian for ‘Scout’

I wonder what a visitor from a distant civilisation might think of our planet, our world. How would they view the custodians of this unique and beautiful place? 

How would they view greed and short term thinking that is destroying the planet, how would they view war, poverty, drought and famine? All of these things are avoidable, but the masses always suffer at the hands of the few who would rather build fortunes they could never spend. 

This collection of songs were written over the last two years, set against the backdrop of unprecedented upheaval and global challenges. Sadness and joy, darkness and light, each song is a chapter in the story of how we have arrived at this point in time and space, and where we might be headed in the future.

The latest release from Madloch's Sound Avenue finds label stalwart Subnode returning for a new single. Hailing from Belgium, Subnode has found a way to create a personal universe by exploring electronic sounds, and ultimately finding his own place in the trend-driven state of underground dance music. Whether operating in solo capacity or alongside frequent production partner and Sound Avenue label boss Madloch; Subnode's creative vision would summon praise from a broad spectrum of electronic music tastemakers, in turn leading to a string of superlative releases with a distinctive voice all their own. Although best known for his house and techno releases, Subnode has diversified his portfolio with downtempo compositions, movie scores and a veritable smorgasbord of experimental electronica; all avenue's where he continues to stretch his creative wings. Sound Avenue and label affiliates 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds would become primary homes for Subnode, with the Belgian artist racking up fifty-three discography credits for the three imprints across a five-year stretch. With 2023 being highlighted by the recently released Madloch collaboration ‘A Fading Dream', Subnode now returns to his solo ways for his latest Sound Avenue project ‘Hypnotica', alongside a remix from HAEN. Cinematique was found in the beginning of 2010 by Robin de Lange also known by some of his friends as the 'Manual Driver' for driving Manual Music artists around the country to their gigs. The label started as a Manual distribution label first and has become an official sister label of Manual Music since 1 January 2012.

Cinematique presents itselves as the widescreen of electronic music. It explores the boundaries from house to techno and everything in between. Cinematique offers a platform for open minded producers, known and unknown, who wants to spread their music into this universe. The label will have a strong focus on creativity, originality, danceability and diversity. 

Cinematique is sometimes edgy, sometimes dreamy, sometimes naughty, but never boring. Releases have been supported by the likes of James Holden, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier, Orde Meikle, Dr. Motte and many more.
