We warmly welcome the amazing Sun Drine for our eigth Herbarium Episode. Her plant choice is really outstanding, look what she has to say about it:

'I have chosen the passion flower because it always amazes me that this wonderful plant not only produces the delicious fruit (actually, I think it's berries) passion fruit, but also flowers that look like from another world. In addition, the passion flower has long been used in natural medicine to relieve anxiety disorders and depressive states and also as a sleep aid.
The music in my mix slowly climbs up, like this climbing plant, and every now and then brings forth a psychedelic blossom. While working on the mix, I kept thinking how it is when your mind gets tangled and you lie there sleepless and the difficult stuff gets big. And how incredibly helpful it can be to have a tincture that wraps you up, calms you down and brings relaxation.

Thus, I wanted to envelop people with the mix, slowly climb up with them, through profound levels, past trippy flowers, snacking on a fruit every now and then, to lightness and release.'

Sun Drine created a carefully crafted mix mirroring exactly what she described. Let yourself get immsered by this lovely musical climbing experience.

Episode 378 brings Javel - Meloman, DJ, and an active member of the electronic music community. Currently, the artist lives in northern Norway, where he and other co-minded people support the movement of the electronic scene. Music plays a vital role in the life of Javel. It pushes forward both, his personal goals and various projects in Norway or Lithuania. Together with, music-loving people, he is developing projects such as Monument and DJ Collective Behind The River.

His music oscillates between ambient, hypnotic, misty, and intense sides of techno. His main musical goal is to tell an engaging story in which the listener can completely immerse and escape reality.

LF58 is the collaborative consciousness of techno maestro Neel and sonic explorer Filippo Scorcucchi. Initially beginning the project with a blissful release on Auxiliary, the duo has since gone on to release three legendary albums on Astral Industries. The modular synth masters are revered for their ability to sculpt sound into expansive, architectural forms, building entire worlds from celestial drones and intricate textures.

This mix is music for the deep cosmos of the mind; an ambient transmission designed to dissolve time and space. Patient and deep, the set serves as a soundtrack for drifting through the quiet solitude of space, floating in a sonic vessel built by two masters of atmosphere.

Savage 6th Anniversary presents - Re:Axis / @re_axis 

Re:Axis is the artistic project of Portuguese producer José Diogo Correia, born in 1984 in Northern Portugal. His journey into music began early—by the age of six, he was already learning classical piano and acoustic guitar, showing a natural affinity for musical expression.

As he grew, José Diogo pursued formal training at the Jazz School of Porto, where he honed his skills in piano, harmony, and improvisation. He later expanded his expertise by studying Engineering and Sound Design in Lisbon. This blend of artistic and technical education laid a strong foundation for his future in electronic music production.

The Re:Axis project officially launched in 2006, initially as a collaboration with fellow artist Hélder Vasconcelos. However, since 2010, José Diogo has led the project solo, shaping its identity with a distinct sonic vision. His music explores the realms of experimental dance, techno, ambient, and deep atmospheric soundscapes, aiming to create immersive experiences that transcend conventional entertainment.

Driven by a desire for artistic coherence and a unique identity, Re:Axis navigates between minimalist and dense forms of techno, always preserving a personal signature. His work is not just about rhythm and beats—it’s about crafting a sonic journey that resonates deeply with listeners.

Beyond producing music, José Diogo also founded two record labels: Monocline Records and Aurora Mística. These platforms serve as outlets for his creative output and support the broader electronic music community. Today, he continues to compose, produce, and perform at clubs and events, maintaining a strong commitment to aesthetic quality, sonic detail, and the authenticity of the musical experience.

Natural consequence is a key phrase for Brussels-born DJ Kim Kenis.  Raised by a drummer, it’s no coincidence that she easily stays in time as she strings together gems from along the genre spectrum. Known and loved as someone who pretty much can’t stop dancing once she starts, it was only a matter of time before she channeled this endurance behind the decks.

Raw modular sounds, tribal percussions and mystical atmospheres.

Located in the Burgundy vineyards, Sindh takes his inspiration from the
rawness of the soil and ancient sonorities. His ability to move flowingly
through genres has led him to develop a unique sound palette of
contemporary transcendental soundscapes.

The Ouroboros festival member determines himself with a raw, deep and
ritualistic sound, navigating across techno, trance and drum’n’bass. In both
his productions and live performances, Sindh blends hypnotic grooves with
immersive sonic textures to plunge listeners into a state of trance.

MATJAMI: Acoustic-electronic soundscapes, deep beats, slow trance, empty space: meditation by listening and playing. 
Tip: Use good speakers or headphones to enjoy the rich, deep sounds and binaural recordings.

We three at MATJAMI (Marcel Bode, Tjalling de Leeuw, Mike de Leeuw) develop our sounds and grooves as we interact live, using our bronze, wooden and stringed instruments, (Balinese gamelan & gongs, bowls, Tibetan horns, Chinese guxing & gongs, Javanese kendang drums, timpani, beer bottles) with Native electronics, samples and live loops. The quality and the texture of our sounds are at least as important as the composition. 
We play our sessions 'on the fly', where one of us starts and the rest comes in at leisure... All you hear here was recorded live, with only some simple stereo and eq mixing afterwards.
We love to perform in open areas, theaters, level stage, and spaces with a special feel to them; a small audience is just as nice.
Recently we started collaborating with other audio-artists like VictorYibril, Fintan O'Brien and Phlip Smith (G.A.), Miraela, and Augenmerk, combining their very different music styles, field recordings and soundscapes with our beats and sounds.
