Long time in the making, this one. It has known 2 abodes, 2 mixing rigs, 2 totally different song structures and 3 different choruses (to in the end, come back to the first one, as is often the case). It's very Cinnamonesque, while also broading the scope just that bit more, which is always nice. 

It describes one of the most unexpected chapters in my book, and how the happiest of storylines can turn to the deepest loss, just by altering the context slightly.

CB's eleventh (!) ("!" for "Wow that's an album's worth and "!" for eleven is a cool number since Stranger Things) was born during the very first pandemic lock-out, and expresses the weird mix of cynicism and hope I felt.
Protest songs have never been my thing, but still, part of this song might be, and I still don't know what to think of that.
In dutch, there's this (ironic) saying that the best helmsmen stand on the shore, and that has always been an aggravating concept to me.
In part, that's what this song is about (just a Tolerated is, by the way... Man, it really does get under my skin, doesn't it?!).
But if this song is criticising the critics, I'm just part of the problem, aren't I? So should I really want to put these lyrics into the world?
Luckily, with my audience, impact should remain rather minimal and, well, as I said, there's a big part of hope in this tune as well. 
The hope part sounds a bit hippy-ish at times, but the hand writes what it writes.

This song was finished about 2 years ago, I think, and will be the last "backlog" song to be released.

T h e P l a y, VIIIth song to be published for Cinnamon Blindspot. 

This song throws back to a magical encounter abroad.
It shows a softer side of Cinnamon Blindspot, and could almost be described as a ballad, but still very much in the CB spirit. 
It was written before the project became a band, and was recorded during the transition.

Very curious to hear how people react to this song. The closest a story is to your heart, the hardest it is to perceive it objectively.

P i c t u r e s U n b u r n t contains a few parts of a song originally intended for ZeroGravity (At that point, it was supposed to be Part II to another song!).
It is, in fact, the first song that got the CinnamonBlindspot label attached to it, but it took quite some time to complete, as it was playing hard to get, and not getting to a point with acceptable flow.
Now, after reworks galore, we're ready to share it as an actual CB song.
