Freestyle V12 [Melodic Techno And Melodic House]

Hey thanks for stopping by and taking time to listen to this mix! This is a 2 hour journey I whipped up in preparation to transfer my stuff over to a new system. Sorry about the wait I just graduated from my university and now I’ve got plenty of time to focus on this whole music thing. I’ve made tons of more high quality new cover arts as well so I hope you look forward to those. My cover arts are usually meant to tell the story I portray during the mix or freestyle I make and add another layer to the music itself. Expect more frequent freestyles and maybe even live sets over the next few months. Finally got this one finished. Its been a while in the making but I wanted to compile all of my club weapons and songs that are personally my favorites into a mega mix. Freestyle V15 CITH’s Weapons [Tech-House, House, Melodic Techno, Techno]

This one’s not for the faint of heart, its also not a genre I usually play but it is definitely one I love to hear live. one of my buddies is in ibiza right now seeing 9 x 9 and I hate models so I really wanted to mix a techno vibe. I decided to record this freestyle and I really like how it turned out so I hope you enjoy:)

Freestyle V16 HARD TECHNO [Hardcore, Rawstyle, and more]

I had originally planned to have this done before bass canyon but I kept finding new songs and then more new songs released so I kept redoing this mix about 10-20 different times. I finally finished a mix that I like, I only had 1 real error, (if you kindly identify the error in the comments of this post there’s a prize btw :).) but yea I’ve been enjoying dubstep tons more as someone who experiments with multiple genres of EDM I’d say it’s more challenging to mix than other genres such as house and techno which makes it more entertaining and overall fun for the person putting the set together which in this case is myself Ofc. This is technically my first long dubstep set that’s over an hour so I wanted to incorporate a bit of everything that you’d see at a bass festival, (I know I missed Hardstyle and DNB) inspired by both my favorite artists from the many genres, as well as my good friends who share the love of bass and dubstep music (s/o Kyle, Jacob, Maddie, Nic, Garrett, Gavin, and all my other nau bass homies 😈) I wanted to just have 2 hours of straight bangers with no filler songs. I think/hope I achieved that, please let me know your opinion and criticisms are welcomed as well of course at the end of the day I’m here to learn and improve. As always I hope you enjoy :)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS YALL! I've had some tunes for a while that have always been good vibes or super emotional when I play them out and I usually save a few here and there for the end of sets but I thought screw it why not make a mix with all the songs that are fantastic closing songs! So here it is! This is purely a mix of songs I’d use as set closers and I think it turned out really good, I’ve got something for everyone in here :). This is technically my first "multigenre" edm freestyle so thats pretty dope. I wanna try to hit a V20 before new years im thinking a smaller dubstep mix so be on the lookout for that. Otherwise as always I hope enjoy these tracks as much as I have and have a wonderful new year <3

Freestyle V19 “Set Enders” [MULTIGENRE EDM: House, Future Bass, DNB, and more!]

OOOHHHHH BOY THIS ONE WAS FUN! I nailed it first try which I usually never do with hard mixes and it turned out really really good. My last mix before 2024 and also freestyle V20! This one has TONS OF DOUBLES. I've been having fun challenging myself learning how to chop and stack tracks its a real challenge but thats what makes it so enjoyable. I also naged to get some "triples" in here I say that because I have a 2 channel controller so I stacked by having a 2 track double prerecorded to chop. Mostly had a ton of Subtronics Excision and and Griz in here with a bunch of other artists most are mentioned in the Hashtags. Feel free to ask for ID's. But yea, its been a great year for edm and I cant wait to see what the new year brings in for the EDM Community. As always I hope you enjoy :)

Joel’s now going on his retrospective tour to celebrate 25 years of Deadmau5 which is INSANE!!! I grew up listening to the muffugin best album of its time (imo): 4x4=12. This was what got me into EDM my mom and dad would throw on the album on the way to soccer games to pump me up and get me in the zone before a match. Such a master piece. Made this one for my parents so its not gonna sound like the usual. This is "old school" type music for my usual listeners, its a journey with tracks that are as long as 10 minutes each so if you may not be a fan but my goal when I stepped into this whole DJ thing was that I would play every genre and sub genre of EDM and im sticking to it!
