Locky Mazzucchelli has a knack for twisting familiar elements into unexpected shapes, and “Day 25” on Small World Compilation Vol. 2 shows just how deep his experiments run. The track opens in stripped-back territory: bleepy acid fragments orbit around one another, setting up a sense of both tension and playfulness. A raw, no-nonsense house bassline soon locks the groove into place, grounding the track’s restless swirl with body-moving intent.

But “Day 25” doesn’t stop there. About halfway through, a deep and dubby synth line creeps in, instantly shifting the mood and widening the scope. It’s a moment of transformation that recontextualizes everything before it - turning what could’ve been a lean acid-house workout into something layered, hypnotic, and emotionally resonant. Funky, raw, and subtly heady, it’s a track that straddles the line between peak-time propulsion and afterhour introspection, perfectly aligned with Small World’s ethos of global-minded yet floor-focused sounds.

Dublin selector and well known figure within Ireland's electronic music circuit, George Feely dabbles in what's usually funk oriented house music. With an ear for house and disco, he's released plenty of tracks and edits in his time, with recent involvement with Random Mind State, Roots For Bloom Records, and the legendary New York based Henry Street Music.

That move towards label releases has pushed the Dubliner one step further, seeing him announce multiple festival appearances, shows in Ibiza, Stuttgart, London, New York, and Amsterdam, as well as special b2b sets with Jasper James, Marshall Jefferson, and JohNick. 

However it is George's latest milestone that has set him ahead of the curve, as he made his debut on the mighty Boiler Room at 2019's Higher Vision Festival.

Berlin's Cinthie has grown to become one of the most revered and respected figures in contemporary electronic music in recent years both in her hometown and across the globe. Her touring schedule regularly sees her playing her inimitable DJ style in hotspot cities like Paris, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Stockholm, Seoul, Osaka, and of course her beloved hometown Berlin .

Djing in said city since the early nineties as a teenager Cinthie's depth of knowledge radiantly shines through in her sets and her productions, which traverse through a broad range of classic and contemporary House and Techno sounds. Recent times have seen Cinthie look inwards towards her aspirations for the future, and as a result, dedicated a huge portion of her time to building her own studio, featuring a wide spectrum of some of the most noteworthy vintage drum machines and synthesizers in existence.

Initially Cinthie made her mark with Diego Krause, Ed Herbst and stevn.aint.leavn as the Beste Modus / Beste Freunde collective, amongst running Unison Wax and We_R House on top of the main labels. Most recently she launched her 803 Crystalgrooves imprint to critical acclaim, a platform which has become a huge focus for her own productions for the foreseeable future as well as the imprint's sub-label Collective Cuts, which as the name suggests, welcomes music from affiliates and friends of the artist. On top of this there’s a burgeoning relationship with Will Saul's Aus imprint where her debut album comes in 2020. Cinthie’s unfaltering drive and dedication to all things House continues into another decade...
