Studio Mondial freut sich sehr, in dieser Episode den Zürcher Booker, Musiksammler und DJ Cio Assereto im Kapitel Bollwerk zu begrüssen. Unter dem Label Spezialmaterial, dass er vor über 15 Jahren mitbegründet hat, veranstaltet er innovative Musik in den Randzonen aller Genres und auch als Gast ist er überall anzutreffen wo Musik sich neue Ecken sucht. Begleitet von unseren Residents spielt er neues, altes und obskures aus seiner Sammlung.

Studio Mondial für Freunde und Fremde auf der ganzen Welt. Was die fünf Radiomacher zusammenhält, ist was die Sendung verbindet. Die Freude an Musik, Neugierde und die Suche nach der perfekten Ästhetik und dem Widerspruch. Das Forschen, die Lust am Aussergewöhnlichen und an den Nischen ist Programm, das Ablehnen von Grenzen eine Haltung. So wird das Überschreiten und Hinter-sich-Lassen zum Konzept, wird das Unvorhergesehene zu einem spannenden und erwünschten Mitspieler jeder Sendung.

Princess P & Cio are a couple living in 2 different cities in Switzerland (Bern and Zurich.) Besides their daily jobs Muriel works as a DJ and Cio runs Spezialmaterial at Club Zukunft. While sitting out the current Pandemic-situation in their respective quarantine homes, Cio sent his Records to Bern where Princess P. recorded a sort of Long-Distance-Back-2-Back with music they are currently listening to including Swiss artists such as Starter, Schmutz Sisters or Fizzè.

We are happy to welcome Princess P & Cio with their monthly show at Mutant Radio. A couple living in 2 different cities (Bern and Zurich). Princess P has a long history of DJing in Switzerland and is a resident at Club Zukunft in Zurich. Cio is a promoter of mainly electronic music and runs his Spezialmaterial Nights also at Club Zukunft. For the monthly show they explore their love for a wide variety of musical genres, inviting special guests from time to time.

Princess P & Cio are back with their monthly show! This time they invited Logtoad, performance artist, sound designer, DJ and veteran of Glasgow’s music community, starting out as resident at the infamous Solar raves in 1992, working and touring with Switzerland’s Spezialmaterial collective from 1995, and running the weekly pre-Optimo session Pre-Op from 2006.

He has performed live a handful of times under various aliases, making his debut as Micronaut at Elektrozübehor, Boa in Luzern, October 1998 and launching this latest dance music project at the first of Ribeka's Liberation Technologies events at La Cheetah, Glasgow in October 2017. His first EP Rat Full of Coins (Vol. 1) was released on Optimo's AF Trax in 2019, with Vol. 2 due out soon, after recent remixes for Apollo View on Insult 2 Injury and TVO on broken20.

For our 4th Show, we invited Alex Like, a Friend, a passionate DJ & Producer and overall a Music Collector since many years. Alex, who is originally from Portugal and has been living in Bern for two decades, amazes us with his hypnotic sound, with his knowledge on what he is following and his open- hearted desire to discover new. He is one part of the swiss based Trio Infernale „Les Portes Noires“. They are running a bi-monthly Radioshow on the local Radio „Bollwerk“. Alex Like is a dj and producer based in Bern.
