We caught up with Daniel H. Pink, author and speaker on workplace, business and management, before his closing keynote speech at the CIPD’s Annual Conference. Daniel was speaking at the November conference on ‘Leadership and the New Principles of Influence’, and in this short interview with podcast presenter Philippa Lamb, he discusses an example of a truly impressive leader, and how he thinks companies can encourage good leadership to flourish. 

Dan has written five bestselling books, his latest of which, To Sell is Human, looks at the skills of persuasion, influence and moving others. The CIPD is currently offering a Drive workshop which is based on Dan’s research, and which focuses on intrinsic motivation, and enhancing workplace performance and engagement.
