มากกว่าการตายที่โรงพยาบาลอย่างเดียวดาย
หรือเต็มไปด้วยเครื่องพันธนาการในนามของการรักษา
วันนี้ เราจะมาเตรียมตัว เตรียมใจ และทำความเข้าใจ
ถึง "ความต้องการสุดท้ายของชีวิต" ของคนไข้ระยะท้าย
"การยื้อ"  อาจไม่ใช่ความต้องการของคนไข้
และการตายของคนไข้ ส่วนใหญ่แล้ว
ก็ไม่ใช่ความล้มเหลวของระบบแพทย์พยาบาล
เข้าใจแล้วจะได้ปฏิบัติได้เหมาะสม มีทัศนคติที่ถูกต้อง
ทั้งในฐานะ ผู้ป่วย ญาติผู้ป่วย แพทย์ พยาบาล
และเป็นเรื่องควรเรียนรู้ไว้สำหรับเราทุกคน
ที่ต้องมีวันนั้นแน่นอน ....ไม่ช้าก็เร็ว
