i made this song in participation of audio secret santa 2025 (https://chipscompo.com/entry/3651), in which participants must write a prompt and then receive another persons prompt that they have to make.
my prompt was quite literally just "lofi tearout", which i can only assume was made to absolutely screw me over, but i ended up getting 1st place in production, 4th in sound design, and 5th in overall and uniqueness. fuck you bro.
i had an absolute love hate relationship with this song, i really struggled to even make the song at first because the prompt was so absolutely appalling, but it actually turned out much better than i expected, especially considering that im not very familiar with either genres.
