The sun is finally showing itself here in the UK and we have rustled up a mix to match. Mix 016 opens up with some delightful and smooth jazz house from Retromigration and Jakob Apelian. 'Green Light' is only available on vinyl from the Healthy Scratch crew so grab the wax whilst you can. Deep summer grooves are gifted to us courtesy of Intr0beatz, Javonntte & Scott Diaz. In fact, we have used 2 of the tracks off Intr0beatz latest EP on Slothboogie with 'Gangsta Keith' and the pumping Scruscru remix of 'Local Fryer' which comes during the second more uptempo part of the mix.

After the sundrenched opening we knuckle down for some classic feel deep house with deep dons such as Shaka & Franck Roger. Keen to keep pressing new music we see appearances from Sondrio with '3D' on Closer To Truth, Athlete Whippet's deep roller 'Vesta' and the incredible 'Samplin N Slappin' from Felipe Gordon (what an absolute vibe this one is!)

The final third sees us talking some serious business with pumping 4/4 house. There's no surprise to see a double helping from GLBDOM with Immersif and Hatt.D. Collective Groove sign off with 2 grooves, 'The Groove Theory' by Cedarwood State Traxx and 'Yeah It's A Groove' from Hatt.D.

What a night! Our first resident night at the one and only Monarch Berlin Club (24.9.) after the 18 months Corona break was a very special moment for me.
