About the release
For the 89th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, Barcelona based duo Far Distance returns to the label with a debut EP of technique and talent in "Hyperspace / Stardust".
A production duo with a rich musical heritage, Peio Rios & Danny Murphy have courted considerable success on esteemed labels such as Toolroom, Highway Records, and Mercurial Tones, supported by an elite list that includes Solomun, Carl Cox, Joris Voorn, Nora En Pure, and Richie Hawtin. Deciding to cement their partnership with the Far Distance moniker, the Spanish pair created a data stream between their homes in Bilbao and Barcelona with impressive results after a debut on their own label Rocked in 2014. Their collaboration with Stefan Addo titled "Worm Hole" in April 2021 marked the pair's first appearance on Perspectives. 
"Stardust" continues the melodic storytelling of its partner track "Hyperspace" as a running bassline and driving beat create a framework for a shimmering motif to filter in and out of sonic range. Evolving with ease, spine-tingling chord changes and club-friendly snare rolls create a powerful sonic force that is sure to find favor with leading A-list DJs across the summer festival circuit.

Next up for Sprout is a three-tracker from Circle of Life - Roots. Serbian producer Dusan Sekic began the Circle of Life moniker some time ago and its gathered pace ever since. Now signed to a host of great labels including ICONYC, Click and BeatFreak, his trademark strong sound design and powerful low end has grown in popularity among the underground jocks and fans alike.   

Opening with 'The Future' we are quickly thrust into their bass-heavy imaginings. Sparse percussion and a fierce low end make ample room for the trance-inspired main riff and off-kilter sonics. Next, 'Roots' takes us on a journey back to the glory days of Prog with a huge peak-time bruiser. Finally, 'Planet Mars' completes the trio. Ominous melodies combine with a deep, powerful bass, clever synths and skippy hats for a real floor shaking finale.

Strinner makes a welcome return to Steyoyoke with a new EP, “Means Of Production”. Featuring 4 Ethereal Techno tracks, Strinner’s latest coup is a journey across the full palette of his signature groove-laden style. 

The single “Means Of Production” sets the tone for the EP with a modern, unique approach to track arrangement as loose percussions rub shoulders with spacious melodics. “Toe The Line” fluctuates its focus between high and low elements before leading us steadily on to the next tracks. “Enigma” is a deep and brooding affair with an inimitable synth lick. Rounding out the EP is the more experimental, “Aloyisia”, which employs tantalizing synthetic sounds.
