The diverse musical awareness he has achieved throughout the years becomes evident in the great care he takes over harmonies and melodic structures.

His style sits somewhere between house and techno, nurturing a sound which is driving and groovy, but with greater emotional range. It just can’t be placed in one genre, although it connects to many.

I created this version as a way to honor their music, which I deeply admire and has been a constant companion in my life. I’ve listened to Kiasmos on every flight, and their music has been a safe haven for my soul.

Today, I want to share my vision of their work. Imagine the soft keys of a piano mixed with the gentle sound of strings. That’s what inspired this reinterpretation.

Close your eyes for a moment… picture a group of children laughing in an enchanted forest, bathed in the golden light of sunset. Shadows play across the forest floor. In this second episode of Circle of Life [COLCAST002], CEREUS delivers the special set he performed during the opening of the Circle of Life Showcase in Denver, August 2025. A deep and organic downtempo journey that reflects the essence of his sound — emotional grooves, melodic textures, and spiritual energy that set the perfect tone for an unforgettable night.

Peace on Earth was born from the need to turn music into a space for unity, awareness, and a collective call for peace. In a world marked by injustice and violence, we believe that art, music, and collaboration can create moments of silence, reflection, and hope.

This compilation is a tribute to the children who have lost —and continue to lose— their lives to war, hunger, poverty, and inequality. It is also a gesture of gratitude: while some of us are able to live our childhood dreams, millions of children will never have that chance.

The project began with an original track by Bodaishin & Lupe Republic, composed more than two years ago. Eight artists from different corners of the world offered to reinterpret it, working with the same stems but translating them into unique emotions, processes, and perspectives. The result: 10 diverse interpretations, united by one message.

With the support of Proton, 100% of the profits from this compilation will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, directly contributing to their humanitarian work in the most affected areas.

Derk is a DJ and music producer from Rosario, Argentina.
His passion for music began at an early age, leading him to study guitar and vocals. These formative experiences allowed him to be part of two local bands, marking the beginning of his musical journey.

In 2014, after discovering electronic music, he immersed himself in the world of DJing, launching his career first as a DJ and later as a producer.
