Free Shelter invites the underground queen from Seoul, @Taelyns, for the 17th instalment of their "Free Shelter Invites" guest mix series on IDA Radio. 

Sourcing her taste and style by Interacting with radio channels from different places around the globe as well as growing up in the local scene she's gotten a specific sound that stays true to her name. For this mix, Taelyn dwelves into the more clubbier aspects of her sound.

Organic with a tinge of melancholic wistfulness, Sau Poler’s (@sau-poler) music feels bright and obscure, modern and intimate, mental and hypnotic. Grooving basslines, shuffling beats, and taut samples coalesce around a unified sound that melds leftfield, house, ambient or techno into a fluid and distinct feeling, one that also imparts a nostalgic twinge and uncanny but reassuring sense of déjà vu. He started out producing instrumental hip hop, downtempo and abstract beats, and since 2013 he has released several EPs on Atomnation (@atomnation), Cin Cin (@cin-cin-303122974), Mule Musiq (@mulemusiq) or Modern Obscure Music (@modern-obscure-music) as well as remixing an incredible plethora of artists. Last year he released his debut LP ‘Nocturno’ on Atomnation, and also premiered his brand new live show in Sónar CCCB edition at the end of 2021.

Robin Flux is a German Producer, DJ, Dancer and Artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Being influenced by the early era of underground dance and club culture in the US, Robin developed his own unique style between House and Techno with discerning dips into Ballroom, Garage, Tribal, Breakbeat and Disco. 

Being active in the house dance, waacking and ballroom communities, creating queer safe spaces for dance culture and freedom of expression is a major drive for his work.

In recent years, he has played gigs and organized parties in many places around the world, including the US, Europe and Asia, while continuously releasing his music on international labels such as Miura Records, with features on XLR8R, The Lot Radio NYC and Dure Vie Paris, among others.
