Circles & Stones release their debut EP „Various Gems I“ with four various artists.

The EP opens with "Cloud 9", an ode to summer by Thomas Atzmann that’s as catchy as it is uplifting. It’s followed by O/Y's grungy revision of Robosonic’s "Kabale & Liebe", full of organic drums and haunting vocals. Arutani’s slow burner "Back in Time" gives a groove that’s dark yet never heavy and lightly leads the way to Midas 104’s floating, beautifully layered production "Quixotopia".

Nights are coming and going and faces appear and vanish, great plans are made and rarely held up to. While that is the mode that keeps the machine running, from time to time something greater can evolve out this fast paced spare time profession. That is to say, it is a great pleasure to smooth the way for our dear friend »Kleintierschaukel« and his »Blue Elephant«.

A rare species whose origins are found in »Motomia« (A1), that odd place where sticky clocks tick faster than time passes. Still all confusion is lost in the calm whispering of Juliette (A2), a harmony of strange confidence. Despite all its apparent harmlessness, it needs the soothing voice of our all beloved Leonie to let its vast figure withdraw to the rivers and show the gentle nature of this »Unterwassermann« (B1). Back in his element all notches are smoothed out and movements unite in a rythmic flow. This is not a documentary, this is the Blue Elephant: »TV Ende« (B2).

All echoisms aside: We are very happy to have Mr. »Valentin Stip« from Montreal himself contribute his interpretation of »Motomia« (D), a delicate dissection, reunited to a greater interaction of the most gentle kind.

The first cold breezes and the fading warmth of the sun, which we just took for granted so easily, sketch the outline of that mild and soothing melancholia resting in autumn's palms. A mood we can very well enjoy to bury in deeply and with Luise's newest release listen to closely. »MENTIS EXCESSUS« is a tenderly crafted tale, a musical journey that paints broad images of false memories and blurry resemblances. Like a Déjà-vu that lasts too long to put aside, it crawls up your neck to give you that eerie feeling of curiosity with which you look at the uncanny world that suddenly surrounds you.

We are very pleased to welcome »WIDE AWAKE« as the most recent addition to Luises's sheltered, little family, a project that has its foundations at the talented hands and hearts of »Niju«, »Ninze« & »Okaxy«. These three banded together for greater good to provide nothing less, but their as well as Laut & Luise's first album.

Es gibt Klänge, die sich wie ein Heilbalsam um unsere Denkstränge legen, die uns die Knoten aus dem Kopf kämmen und mit denen sich spontan ein inneres Gleichgewicht einstellt. Die Handpan ist ein wunderbares Beispiel dafür. Im Track Asura haben Elias Dore & Acado das Instrument mit dem gemächlichen Stampfen und den verträumten Eskalationen elektronischer Klangerzeugung kombiniert. Der Remix von Mollono.Bass geht etwas mehr nach vorne, lässt dabei aber ganz viel Raum für die meditativen Frequenzen der Handpan. Und KlangDruide interpretiert den Titel in Form einer entrückten Zeitlupenaufnahme. Der zweite Track Wadeeh basiert auf einer tiefgründigen Melodiestruktur und kommt mit ordentlich Schwung und dem einen oder anderen Spitzenzeit-Merkmal daher. Im Remix von lnnacircle verwandelt sich dieser Titel in eine psychedelische Abfahrt mit tribalistischen Trommeleinlagen.

There are sounds that act on the mind like a healing balm, that untie the tangle of our everyday
worries, that re-establish our inner balance in an instant. The handpan is wonderful example. In their track Asura, Elias Dore & Acado combine the instrument with the slow stomp and dreamy escalations of a synthesized electronic groove. The remix of Mollono.Bass has a bit more forward thrust, while keeping a lot of audio space for the meditative frequencies of the handpan to unfold. And KlangDruide interprets the title in the form of an enraptured slow motion recording. The second track Wadeeh is built upon a deep melodic structure and has a lot of momentum and many characteristics of a peak time tune. The remix of lnnacircle turns this into a psychedelic departure
