London-based DJ duo, producers, and curators Earthly Measures announce their debut EP, ‘FROM EARTH’, landing August 8 via Oath. The six-track release is a vibrant statement of intent: a celebration of rhythm, collaboration, and borderless sound.

Leading the EP is the electrifying first single ‘QUE?’, featuring Colombian artist OKRAA. It’s a kinetic fusion of Afro-Latin percussion, live textures, and UK breakbeat energy, anchored by a looping Fela Kuti sample that pulses like a heartbeat through the track. A psychedelic, bass-heavy trip built for movement.

Across ‘FROM EARTH’, Earthly Measures chart a path through deep grooves, organic instrumentation, and global club culture. Each track is shaped by cross-continental collaboration:

‘THIRD TRY’, created with Chile’s DJ Raff, is a hypnotic, slow-burning roller that blends warped synths, sub-heavy basslines, and Latin rhythmic sensibilities with mystical restraint.

“EARTH GROOVE”, made with Argentinian producer Balam, hums with ancestral echoes and future-facing energy: a ritualistic low-end meditation finally emerging from their archives.

The EP also includes three powerful remixes that reimagine the originals through fresh lenses:

Berlin-based Olsvangèr brings a dubbed-out, textural warmth to ‘QUE?’ with his Wildwood Dub.

Sun Sone’s remix of ‘THIRD TRY’ leans into bright percussion and open-air energy.

Jinje closes the journey with a kaleidoscopic, peak-time rework of ‘EARTH GROOVE’, lifting it into euphoric new terrain.

As longtime champions of globally inspired dance music, Earthly Measures have spent years cultivating a platform where sounds from across the planet collide — whether through their label, DJ sets, or live showcases. Melómana Records reaches its 53rd release with a launch that marks a new milestone in its journey, presenting a truly special talent within the international electronic scene. Pino, a Tbilisi-based producer and live performer, is celebrated for his unique way of moving between indie dance and house, driven by an improvisational spirit and a raw analog sound that turn each performance into an intense and immersive experience.

His new EP, Focus 10, condenses all that energy into two original tracks full of personality. The title track pulls us into a break and electro universe with a vibrant, driving bassline that never lets up, while Kage slows down the tempo into a slowmotion trip, where a hypnotic low-end and powerful impact create a dark and magnetic journey that grips from the very first beat.

The release is completed with two remixes that take the EP even further. Nagoya-based multi-instrumentalist and rising DJ Hiroyuki Kato returns to the ever-consistent Flexi Cuts with Life 今 (FLEX 031), a record that perfectly distills the artist’s layered approach to sound and the label’s instinct for unearthing voices that carry both groove and depth.
Having built a relationship with the label over the past two years—already signing an EP and a single—Kato now delivers a project that feels like a culmination of that dialogue: five tracks on wax, complemented by an additional cut exclusive to the digital edition.

Sounds Over Seas is ready to release its very first LP by label founder Julian Bainbridge. The album covers aspects of the Deep House genre in its classic definition, pushing certain boundaries, whilst maintaining the spirit of the genre through feeling and utilising melodies and rhythm to evoke emotions which go beyond the dance floor. Keeping it raw throughout the nine tracks, each one incorporates different elements of the music spectrum. Implementing jazzy tweaks, minimalistic rhythms, haunting melodies as well as ambience and globals sounds in a full dancing and listening experience.

Transcend into orbit with Uritorco Times. (Probably) an ode to Argentina’s most mystical peak, UFO synthesisers flash and bleep around a wonky bassline. The result is equal parts mystic ritual and late night mischief.

Sly yet crunchy Push Comes To Shove rides a killer bassline over off kilter percussion. Sleazy mechanical funk that teeters, entranced between tension and release.

Sonic Witchcraft ensues in Junk Be Gone as the shadowy yet playful bassline twists like smoke around the acid melody summoning rhythm from strangeness.

Junk Be Gone gets the Felix Dickinson treatment for the EP’s remix delivering an extra long rework that stays respectfully true to the original in all the right ways. Live acid bass envelops the original bassline whilst ever intensifying synth solos build to an epic crescendo.

Tooflie’s shadowy crate-diggers return for their sixth expedition, this time unearthing melodic relics from the sands and stone of the SWANA region. The A-side opens with a charismatic locally-well-known Borıs Timur from Azerbaijan, reshaping his half-crime chanson half folk music into a slinky, percussion-driven anthem that sways between mysticism and dancefloor intent. A2 dives deeper into the vaults: a cryptic cut built on early hip-hop and electro intonations, stitched together from dusty Middle Eastern groove samples, looping like a mirage between past and future.

Turn to the B-side and the spotlight falls on a modern folk icon turned global cult hero Omar Souleyman. The first interpretation is a peak-time techno weapon, packed with frenetic energy and built for ecstatic release. The closing track shifts gears in a slower, contemplative breakbeat journey that delves more deeply into the dabke tradition, stretching its spiraling melodies and communal pulse into a pre-dawn dreamstate. Once again, Tooflie fuses archival echoes and electronic invention into a spellbinding vinyl-only dispatch for dancers and diggers alike.
