Fall In Love

DJ Pierre delivers the second installment of his acclaimed 'Acid 88' compilation series by serving up a quality collection of acid bangers, including Bloody Mary's piercing and squelching peak-time cut 'Love Is Acid'.

With warping 303 riffs Bloody Mary showcases the essence of rave with her hypnotic acid track. The French-born, Berlin-based artist has been carving out her place in the underground for the past decade with releases on various labels, but it's her Dame-Music imprint that's helped her garner a cult-like following. Now her latest offering on Afro Acid will further showcase her unique approach to electronic music.

'DJ Pierre pres. Acid 88 Vol. 2' is set for release June 15.

Starting out as a small events company in Maidstone, ABODE has now become international with its “ABODE On The Rocks” three day festival in Malta, “ABODE In The Park” in London and the recently announced Ibiza residency at super club Amnesia with guaranteed sell out parties all summer long.

On mixing duties we have enlisted two of our finest resident DJ’s; GW Harrison and Ellie Cocks who bring their signature sound to each mix and further enforce the family ethos that the brand carries. Alongside the expertly crafted mixes are six brand new exclusive tracks from ABODE residents and hotly tipped, new talent, which are sure to be heard playing out across the White Isle this season.

It’s almost impossible to fathom the success Camelphat have had in the last 12 months. With Grammy and Ivor Novello Nominations, alongside charting as Beatport’s biggest selling artist, their impact is truly astonishing. However, making hit records and receiving such accolades has been no overnight success for the pair. Camelphat have been working tirelessly in Liverpool and beyond for over a decade, making music under various guises and styles. Camelphat and Yousef have known each other for many years. Much alike one another they’ve earnt their stripes, contributing to the dance music industry in a plethora of ways; DJ’ing, running events, running clubs. Naturally, this friendship, teamed with Camelphat’s admiration and understanding of Circus Recordings, led to the exchanging of demos that finally manifested in this release. Opening track ‘The Solution’ is nothing short of relentless. Having had numerous plays out, the track has been dubbed ‘check-mate on the dancefloor’. With second track, ‘DMT’, Yousef was immediately hooked on the way it pushed the boundaries of Camelphat’s vision further than ever before. Indeed, a fully twisted techno work out that sees heavy kicks and driving bass build, amid looping sirens, to not one but two huge crescendos. This EP showcases club music with the heftiest of parameters. Undoubtedly, another enormous EP for Camelphat and a fitting following to the equally enormous ‘Say Something’ by Nasser Baker already out on Circus Recordings Distributed by Strikeforce 360 Media
