MadTech Records returns this March with a sixteen-track various artist compilation entitled ‘Miami 2016’.

Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records had yet another incredible year in 2015 with two critically acclaimed compilations plus releases from Alexis Raphael, Cera Alba and Artifact all garnering support from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Danny Howard, Gorgon City, Groove Armada, James Zabiela, Maya Jane Coles and many more. Here we see MadTech push on with a fresh various artists compilation set for release around the revered Miami Winter Conference in March.

In typical fashion from the MadTech imprint ‘Miami 2016’ treats us to an array of contemporary house grooves from notable names such as Max Chapman, Solardo, Hauswerks & Raffa FL and Capulet. As always with these various artist compilations from the imprint though, ‘Miami 2016’ embraces the opportunity to shed some light on up and coming talents from across the globe with burgeoning producers such as Neil Parkes, Di Chiara Brothers, Rich Wakley, Timmy P & James Dexter plus many more making an appearance.

Mihalis Safras & Noir have teamed up to create a three track, stomping, tech house release. ‘Ghetto’, the duo’s offering, is heavy hitting with it’s deep kick drum, intense crescendos and driving hoover. ‘Ida’ created by Safras alone, cuts a slightly lighter groove with it’s uplifting samples and tinkering high hats, showcases his talents as a producer to create energy driven tech house music. With a remix of ‘Ghetto’ also from Mark Broom, this release is one not to be missed.

Circus recordings artist and ibiza dj awards break through artist Mihalis Safras sent label
owner Yousef his version of Marco
Carola's 'play it loud' - which first appeared as the lead and title track to his 2008 album released on Richie Hawtin's Minus Records. 
After multiple plays by Carola & Yousef, the circus recordings head reached a swift agreement with Richie Hawtin to release the impressive 2016 version without delay. 
The dance floor reactions both Marco and Yousef have had from the Mihalis remix have been phenomenal.
It's simply a banger... 
And the first time Yousef, Mihalis Safras, Marco Carola & Richie Hawtin have collaborated and contributed to a project together.

Label boss M.in of My Favourite Freaks Music locked himself inside of his studio with all of the new analogue synthesizers and drum computers. The achievement of this work is his new album “Year Of The Ape“, which has been released on July 01st and the feedbacks on it where overwhelming. 
Now it is about time to reveal his second Remix EP, which contains the 3 original tracks and 2 stunning Remixes.

M.in & Bruno Gentile developed in a short in time period an amazing musical connection, which led the three tracks ‘Rotate’, ‘Something’ and ‘Prophecy’.
On ‘Rotate’, a rough house track with a fat bass line, heavy grooves and catchy vocals, M.in’s new passion for his analogue synths.
‘Something’ is driven by a 303 bass line and 909 hats as a special surprise a piano riff comes up in the middle of the track - hands up feeling guaranteed.
The tech house number ‘Prophecy’ will be surely played throughout many clubs - synth thunderstorm and noise bring the darkness back into the light of the dance floor.

The Italian producer Sante Sansone delivered a new groovy interpretation of Rotate and the Berliner by choice Ferdinand Dreyssig remixed Prophecy to a real peak time techno bomb.

Steve Lawler makes his debut on Hector Couto’s thriving Roush imprint to kick off 2017, with both Couto and Spanish talent Cuartero providing two stellar remixes.
2016 has seen Hector Couto’s Roush take a firm hold within the world of house, with releases from industry heavyweights including the likes of DJ W!ld, Steve Rachmad, Santé, Neverdogs, DJ T. and more this year alone. Next up is VIVa boss Steve Lawler, who finally releases ‘People Having Sex’ as his first offering on the label.
“I’m very happy to now release this track. I made it a couple of years ago around the time I made ‘House Record’ that was eventually released on Hot Creations. I was experimenting with my old Roland machines, trying to re-create a sound that I was aware of in the late 80’s. This track ‘People Having Sex’ was never sent out to anyone at the time and just kept it for my DJ sets. Now 2 years on, and under the desire of many people asking what this track is throughout all of this summer, I have decided to release it and where better than Hector Couto’s House label Roush” - Steve Lawler
Lawler’s original opens up the EP in fine style, revealing ever-evolving 303 lines, mischievous vocals, 808 claps and precise percussion patterns that combine to combine unearth a record unquestionably intended for the dancefloor. Next up, Roush boss Hector Couto’s interpretation firmly places its emphasis on percussion, with a driving low-slung groove and rugged drum licks guiding the production into an energy-fuelled workout across five and a half minutes.
Lastly, Cuartero’s remix shapes up the package by utilising the original’s playful vocal over a bubbling lead line whilst a series of glitches and pops ebb and flow amongst shuffling hats in the background, rounding out yet another impressive package from the team at Roush. Steve Lawler ‘People Having Sex’ is out on Roush on January 30th 2017.
